The Board of Foreign Parishes (BFP) is a nonprofit organization established by statute in 1883 to hold property and assets of Episcopal churches outside the United States. Over the years the BFP has held title to various churches in Europe (currently only the American Cathedral in Paris), but its main focus is the management of investments for the benefit of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe (Convocation). Disbursements from these investments currently fund about half of the Convocation’s annual budget.
Gifts may be made by check, wire transfer, gifts of stock and other securities, and legacy gifts. Prospective donors should consult their own advisors before making a donation. Contributions are deductible to the fullest extent allowed under US law.
The BFP exists to insure the future of the Episcopal Church in Europe.
