MISSION & Ministry
Climate & Creation Care
In Jesus, God so loved the whole world — so we love the world God loves. We celebrate, respect and protect the beauty and diversity of creation, building loving, life-giving relationships with all creation and acting together so that life can flourish for generations to come.
CELEBRATION
We celebrate the beauty and goodness of life and all that God has given us: the breath in our lungs, the people we love, the food we share, the water we drink, the sun’s warmth, the rain, rivers, mountains and seas, and every creature sharing this Earth with us.
RESPECT
We choose to see the world not as something to use, but as a community of life we belong to. Every person, creature, tree and river has its own worth, beauty and place — we honour the other by using resources thoughtfully and with future generations in mind.
PROTECT
Love calls us to care for what has been entrusted to us. We use our time, gifts and resources thoughtfully — not to take more, but to nourish life and help it flourish for generations to come.

Earth Day 2021
There’s so much happening in climate & creation care in 2021 – that there is growing optimism that the UN COP conference in November will provide a fresh impetus for the urgent action that’s needed to save our biosphere. But as Earth Day approaches it’s worth asking the question: will it be a case of just in time or too little too late?
